About dan
Dan is a passionate and experienced musician and teacher who genuinely enjoys his craft as well as helping people to reach their full potential.
As a teacher, he is kind, empathetic and patient and understands that every person is their own individual self. He will work closely with you and facilitate your learning around your own individual learning style.
Dan first started playing guitar at the age of 14, very quickly getting stuck in to playing in bands at school. Since then he has never been out of a band. Always enjoying playing with other musicians and creating sweet music!
Over the years he has played in numerous bands in venues across the UK and Europe and currently plays in two functions bands as well as stepping in as a guitar player for other projects.

about dan's bands
Dan started off playing in a band as a teenager with his younger brother on the bass guitar and his best mates on second guitar and drums. Having grown up listening to a lot of heavy rock, they decided to make a metal band. They performed at school as well as some local youth clubs and pubs alongside other young bands. There was a real sense of community amongst all of these young musicians and friendships were formed for life!
After this, Dan ventured into a new band with Joey Draper (now of South Of Salem) whilst at college. This band already had an established fanbase and gave Dan some great new experiences, such as playing at The Concorde 2 in Brighton.
Since then, Dan has played in a number of bands, writing and touring and recording.
He currently plays in the function band Neon Rhythm, a party band that specializes in playing dancefloor fillers to a high standard. The band is booked up for private events and weddings and continuing to expand their set list and sound.
